Portland
The biggest city in Oregon is the state Capitol city of Portland, which will provide you plenty of different venues to investigate. Some of the most popular things you will find here are Portland Zoo, a wonderfully exhibited zoo, restaurants, shopping malls, and boutiques, public gardens. Portland is also very close to the Columbia River Gorge and Mount Hood, both of which would be great for any family to take a trip to see. Aside from what has been mentioned, there are also a number of different sporting venues to attend and within less than a two-hour drive; you can find the Oregon Coast.
Cannon Beach
If you are looking to walk along a rugged, adventurous, and beautiful beachfront, then you need to get yourself to the Oregon Coast. The Beach of Cannon is probably the most famous of all beaches on the Oregon coast. It provides a quiet & relaxing atmosphere that any individual or family will enjoy. As with any beach, Cannon Beach offers many of the same amenities that you will thoroughly enjoy: beach combing, swimming, sunbathing, and any other beach activities. Once you have toured the beaches and had a relaxing time, you can visit any number of the smaller communities that you will find up and down the western coast.
Bend
Central Oregon is home to the small but popular holiday city of Bend. Because Bend experiences all of the seasons, you will find many popular activities such as skiing, river rafting, wilderness outings, and hiking that you can and will certainly enjoy. The fun never stops in Bend, as there are a number of local attractions that keep the visitors and tourists coming back year after year.
Therefore, if you are a beach goer, city life kind of person, or just looking for a quiet but popular place to visit, you may just want to visit, Portland, Bend or Cannon Beach in the great state of Oregon.
